E-TAG SYSTEM EXPANDS AT SYDNEY AIRPORT

As part of Sydney Airport’s commitment to improve transport facilities, Sydney Airport is pleased to formally advise that the current Pay & Display ticket system will be replaced with an e-tag system.

The new system will be automatic – meaning that you will not have to pay with cash, you will not have to leave your vehicle to get a paper ticket and you will have proper record keeping provided through your e-tag statement.

T1 LIMOUSINE AREA EXPANDS. (update 6th June 2011)

The Limousine area at T1 is sheduled to expand from 34 spaces to 62 spaces, an increase of 28 spaces. The expansion is sheduled to be completed by the 30th June. 

FEE INCREASE. (update 6th June 2011)

The fees paid by accredited commercial drivers will increase by $1.00 from 5 July with mini-buses paying $5.00, buses $7.00 and coaches $12.00 to access the passenger pick-up zones.  The taxi access fee will increase by 50 cents to $3.50 from 1 July.  There is no charge for passenger drop-offs.

The access fee paid by limousines will also increase by $1 from 5 July with limousines paying $4.50 to access the T1 pick-up area for the first 75 minutes, another $4.50 for the second 75 minutes and $9.00 for the third 75 minutes.
